Enhancing ICT infrastructure

ASSEK In collaboration with ICT Norway, Strathmore University, PANGEA Accelerator entered into an MOU to promote collaboration, capacity building within the local ecosystem while promoting knowledge transfer between local entrepreneurs and their Norwegian counterparts.

The MOU also aims to provide a framework for partners championing ICT enabling projects, while establishing over 20 coding groups for girls in Kenya over a 2 year period.

In line with Vision 2030, this MOU aims to promote collaboration between academia and the innovation ecosystem geared towards catalyzing entrepreneurship.

So far the project has seen over 200 entrepreneurs trained, with opportunities existing to train much more.  The partnership has seen a co-creative process of developing a code of conduct for the ecosystem that will ensure the ecosystem sets the standard of operations for all the players within the ecosystem
