
The Dubai World Trade Centre in Partnership with ASSEK and Dubai chamber of commerce organised a Kenyan Roadshow on 25th May 2022 as part of their activities to promote the Gulf Information Technology Exhibition (GITEX) to discover the best startups in Kenya and spotlight winners in front of global audiences.
10 Kenyan startups were shortlisted to pitch during the event held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel and the winner received a fully sponsored trip, and a chance to pitch at the GITEX Global event in October, 2022 in front of 400+ investors with an opportunity to win US $ 200,000 in cash rewards.
Kyanda, a Fintech startup that offers digital financial services to businesses; SMEs and users, shone through to first position, followed by Circularity Space, a smart waste management startup in second place and in third place came Bloow, a self-sustaining ecosystem built around music, giving emerging artists an opportunity to monetize their content.
