We are honoured to welcome our new CEO Mercy Kimalat who is joining us from the 15th of January 2021. Mercy has 8 + years of experience in designing and managing impact-driven programs across diverse sectors in the entrepreneurship ecosystem. In the past, she has played a vital role in growing brands and fostering collaboration with strategic partners who included but were not limited to Government institutions, Regulatory bodies, Fintechs, Technology firms and others.
As a multi-talented and results-oriented individual, she has previously held senior roles such as Programme Manager at the African Management Institute where she achieved a 15% skill improvement of the trained management staff in over 15 mid-size and large institutions in Kenya, Tanzania and Ethiopia; Project Manager for the Clinton Health Access Initiative and rolled out an online Heath Management System in key hospitals across Kenya as well as developed training programmes to train over 2,000 health workers on how to use online Health Management Systems.
She is passionate about transformative work that will equip leaders and entrepreneurs with the right tools to thrive in all environments including the current fluid operating environment brought about by the Covid Pandemic. Mercy, previously served on the Board of the Association of Startup and SME Enablers of Kenya (ASSEK) as the Member Engagement Advisor.
