ASSEK in collaboration with ICT Norway, Strathmore University, PANGEA Accelerator and have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding in order to create a collaborative partnership agreement to promote a tech-preneurial business ecosystem.

The overall objective of this MOU is to share trends fostered towards innovation and entrepreneurship in Kenya while facilitating knowledge exchange between Norwegian partners and the Kenyan entrepreneurs. The MOU hence seeks to provide a framework to champion ICT projects, while implementing digital learning solutions, through setting up over 20 coding groups for girls in Kenya over a 2-year period. This agreement further aims at improving opportunities for 1000 start-ups active in the Kenya ecosystem, while bettering the livelihoods of 150,000 entrepreneurs working in Kenya.  Overall, this MOU aims at strengthening collaborative efforts in two different countries while increasing the digitisation process in the two regions.
