On December 14 th 2019, ASSEK contributed towards the 2019 Pwani Innovation Week under the theme; ‘Stimulating The Innovation Ecosystem in the Pwani ( Coastal) Region .’ The event targeted attendees from 6 counties of the Pwani Region coming together to discuss ways to stimulate the innovation ecosystem in the region and drive regional innovation strategy. ASSEK was able to identify opportunities to work with governments and corporate to explore how Africa , through Kenya , can leapfrog growth using digital technologies.
